About the exhibition
The new BnF museum encompasses the entire range of the library's holdings, from antiquity to the present day, and reveals nearly 900 exceptional works.
Rare pieces are on display, such as the Grand Camée de France and the throne of Dagobert. You can discover illuminated manuscripts such as the Sacramentary of Drogon, or works representing seminal moments such as Pascal's "Pensées" or Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables", Simone de Beauvoir's "Le Deuxième sexe". These extraordinary pieces rub shoulders with prints from Rembrandt to Picasso, drawings by Sonia Delaunay, photographs from Nadar to Capa, objects and costumes. To know more, click here
